warranty almost expired - anything I should/can do?

Just wondering if there is like a free tip to toe checkup I can have done for free, or oilchange or whatever. Never had a car with warranty before so I'm wondering if there is something you recommend doing. Thanks guys.

Or buy extended warranty if you planning on keeping the car for a while.....

I'll tell you what not to do.
Get into a minor accident to void your warranty right before you wanted to take the car in for a few minor things which would have been covered in it.

Learn from my experience. Heh...

I've got an extended warranty twice: once at 50k to 75k - cost $1250 a one time payment and second at 75k - 100k around the same price. Such warranties usually cover main car components such as engines, suspension, tranny, gas tank etc... but does not cover your cd player... There are numerous companies who offer such warranties and numerous variations on what they will cover if it breaks down. But if nothing breaks down then its $1200 lost.

What is the standard Mazda Warranty? Is it 5 year 50K miles?

What if your car's got a salvage title? That would make the warranty expire wouldnt it? The only thing I would like to fix is my EGR problem, I never managed to get it fixed because I don't have money for it, so since my car's at only 25,000 do you think the stealership would just take it in and do it or would they bust me and say pay up beyatch!

What is that EGR problem?? I've seen others mention it before.

For me they checked warranty history and found that the odometer was replaced. Was no problem though. They added it up with the new mileage and it was under 50k so they did it for free. If your salvage status shows up then they may be a stealership.

I just have a CEL due to "insufficient EGR flow" so in my case it's just an annoying light which I burned out cuz I couldn't stand looking at it anymore : / In other cases it causes bad idling and stalling ...
