found a small piece of metal in my left rear tire on the tread part not the grooves, but dont know what to do about it yet,
the tire is holding pressure at the moment so i dont know if its just a good fit or if the metal doesnt go all the way through, but if i pull out the metal and leak air, then i have to put on the spare to take it to sears since its half hour away.
or i could drive to sears pull the piece and of metal and if it leaks than I'm already there otherwise its a waste of a trip...

Just pull it out man, and if it starts leaking take it in to Sears or wherever to get patched up. There's no way a piece of metal is gonna keep the tire sealed .. especially when it expands under increased temperature and friction. It's more than likely just a little "flesh wound" and didn't even penetrate all the way through, so just yank that sucker out before it causes more damage to the tire.

I have had punctures that held pressure. I just go to a shop and ask them to pull the screw/nail/shrapnel/whatever out and plug it. I've seen the tire depressurize following removal. $15 and 10 minutes later I'm on my way.

Slacker insurance still hasn't got their adjuster here to assess damages, but at least they called me today.

I'm going to have enough downtime as is for repairs and ordered parts, I don't need them wasting extra days for nothing. Grr.

With my Tein springs, the headlights aim too low. I'm going to put my front Racing Beat springs on to level them out better.
