What have you done to your 3rd Gen today?

You can't go spoilerless, nor can you put the 03.5 lips on, but you can buy a dg motorsports lip (yes, not an autoexe lip).. it comes just half painted. I destroyed it within like 45 seconds so I removed it :P
as for sand mica.. you can just buy it in silver and throw sand at your TV. --you know, if you could buy it in any color other than laser blue

:P
laser blue mp3 body style with bronze mp3 wheels and p5 headlights is an AMAZING combination.. the Mazdaspeed Familia really did nail it.
I drove the car in the game once while it was still stock. Took 13ish seconds to get to 100 km/h?? yay stability control and tcs being on I guess.
It was 76F here today (wtf!! I swear a couple years ago it was already snowing this late in October) so I washed and waxed my car. I'm still on a quest to find a wax designed to hold up to cold winters, so I just used turtle wax ice. Unless I do each body panel with a different wax and see which lasts the longest this winter, I'll never know what to use. .. and then I'll be stuck halfway through the winter with just a couple panels still protected and I'll have to melt my car with a propane heater to re-wax ha
after this winter I have a feeling the P5 will only be useful as a winter car.
... must.. resist.. urge.. to accept job offer.. must... persevere... and graduate :P
immediately after graduation I will begin saving for an NA or NB miata to use as my summer daily driver.. doesn't really matter if it's not in great condition, only thing I care about is that the block, head, and transmission are in good working order and of course no rust. I'll gladly fix all the rest.
*dreams a bit while driving the mazdaspeed roadster in forza (also in that damn laser blue color.. and again with bronze wheels, omg it looks so good)*

Yeah in GT4 if you use the sunlight silver Familia sedan it just wins.. every time. It's uncanny really, they just perfectly captured the essence of 22V

Well it took me about 7 hours total but I finally got my driver side motor mount
removed, insert installed and replaced everything. So that's three of the four AWRs with only the rear to go. Which I can't/won't do myself...
I can't believe where Mazda puts some of their bolts. I could barely get my fingers into some of those places let alone a tool!
I thought there would be a lot more vibration at idle that there is. The difference is
barely noticeable so far. Maybe that will change when the rear is installed.

On a side topic, what kind of oil does everyone recommend using for winter time? I normally go with 5W-30 Mobil1 Synthetic, so should I just stick with that? I guess I'm just not very sure what the difference between 5W, 10W, 0W, etc. is exactly, and when to use which one. Anyone wanna shed some light on the topic and share some suggestions?

got back from my 550+miles in two days...man I need a carwash now
saw one a ferrari f355
I also saw some dodge charger limited edition model, I had to look a few times because the rear bumper has the cut outs for duel exhaust(the halfmoon cuts like ours) with one on each side...but it only had 1 exhaust tip the second was empty it was really strange.

Looking at the temperature charts in the owners manual, you'll see that 5w30 operates at lower temperatures, but really not that much lower. Definitely a good idea up in the north though

1) wasn't sure what the hell I was doing.
2) the time included one trip to the parts store.
3) two small bolts were so tight with no room to maneuver I nearly gave up
they took over an hour before I got them loose and removed.
4) it only took me about 90 minutes to put everything back together
mainly, it was all #1, so I kept double-checking everything!
