Nice, but I thought we were going to stop taking nighttime headlight photos.

I thought I explained that I adjusted the white balance such that that's really what it looks like (not the last photo.. all the others). pretty sure I explained that a couple times really, no one believes me that 6000K looks that ricey

Is that even real?! I can't tell, graphics on new video game systems have gotten so damn good that I could easily mistake that for a video game shot.

But what I meant was, does anyone have pics of yellow HIDs installed on their P5. Thanks Maff, good try

No games here. Those are GT1 and GT2 class American LeMans Series cars. The GT class cars all have yellow HIDs, the Prototypes have white. This is so at night when you have a car barelling down on you, you know if it's for position or not.

You never specified they had to be on a P5

Are those yellow HIDs or white HIDS behind yellow lenses?

Yeah they definitely all have yellow film on them, but to get that yellow lighting I would think they'd need yellow HIDs as well.

HIDs output a crapton of light, i'd think they'd just overpower a film.

finally finally got the ms axleback installed thanks to a couple friends and a hell of a lot of work, safely I might add...we had the nut from hell that took a good half hour to get off, it had rusted quite well to the backplate thing. and after alot of PBcatalyst and stripping the nut then cranking on it alot with vicegrips we got it off. strangely enough the second one was almost loose... now I just need to wash the car and Ill get some pics, I am keeping the nut from hell as a memento haha.

Vacuumed the inside out (can't understand why/how my gf can get some of the stuff she does in the car). Made believe it was a pickup and took my brother's 22' Little Giant ladder back to him. Had some fun on the way home, although not as much as I would have liked due to slow drivers.

Tomorrow I have to see if the set of stock rubber rear sway bar bushings I have will fit the AXR brackets, if not then I will lube up the poly bushings to keep my gf happy while I am gone. Also planning on reinstalling the GT Spec rear brace I removed when I was tracking down the sqeaking.

Was it seriously that much work?! Mine slipped on and off like a glove .. but congrats on the install. Did you end up reusing the old gasket or did you find the right size?

A propane torch and air tools were needed to install my mazdaspeed axleback (back when I had one). Took a couple hours (because we tried and tried with normal tools first :P )

everything was rusted on of course, and this was in 2004, my car had probably 15k miles on it at the time :P

Are your AXR brackets before he went to the zerk fitting for lubing? If so I know he offer a little upgrade package

then it's a no tools needed, no jacking up the car needed process to lube the rear bushings
