You know when the last time I've seen the sun rise was? Of course you don't, that would be creepy...

Last time I went to a 'day' autocross (last autocross was a night event, totally awesome )

Finally got the Illuminas installed in the back .. after soaking them with PB blaster overnight the bolts came right out. I love that stuff

I'm really happy with the struts too. They raised the car's stance in the rear a little bit which I actually wanted to happen anyway .. it was too low before .. and also improved ride comfort drastically!! It's still kinda bouncy since it's lowered but the suspension's not as stiff, so I don't feel the bumps like I used to. Definitely a big plus!!

Handling is also much more refined now, as I used to have some pretty bad understeer with the stock struts in the back .. but it hugs the road like a champ now. I have the rear set at '4' and the fronts at '3' .. I still gotta figure out the best setup.

So what did you do about that metal plate that mounts on top? Did you have to put a washer instead like I did, or did you make it fit somehow?

If we combine our cars we might have a halfway competent car. I have a disconnected front sway and the MSP rear sway.. now that's a hell of a lot of fun on decreasing-radius onramps :P I really, really wish my tires made noise at their limit or while sliding.. they just give me the silent treatment.

That's all my A/C is good for. I really need to get around to buying new fans so I can have proper radiator cooling and A/C again (if I ever choose to use it).

No, there's no pulling. You loosen or tighten a bolt. Loosening it (I THINK) will loosen the tension on the belt. Tighten it, and you get more tension on the belt.
Yes. tighten bolt, belt tighter. the A/C one is easy as hell to see as soon as you open the hood.. for starters, because it's the most visible belt-operated anything on the car.

Used 3M products to remove useless body side moldings and adhesive.

Still have some stains to get rid of, though...

a visit with the clay bar and maybe some polish should cure that doesn't it look so much better without the moldings?
