That being said, when I installed my TWM short throw 70k miles ago (more like 75k at this point) I never greased anything and it has been awesome

my car is in the garage with the wheels off right now. While I was poking around, I noticed the elbow on my intake (right at the compressor inlet) was sheared almost completely off. it is "patched" for now. I need thinner fans so that I actually have room for an intake.. no time to deal with that now though.

need to install new front sway bar endlinks, what a friggin pain in the butt that'll be. For now, the bolts have been hit with PB Blaster..

I also re-did the mazda6 rear wiper conversion, taking pictures this time. I wrote up the how-to on the garage laptop but forgot to save it.. now I'm inside so I'll just have to write it up again.

Yea I put the stocker back on in the winter time. You never know what might happen with crazy drivers, and I really dont want my DGM to get messed up.

But I did have some warping happen to my CF hood last winter while it was stored. See the pics I posted on the last page after washing it and notice how it sticks up in the middle. That happened after it sat in my garage throughout the winter. Dunno how either, cuz it was stored in a box laying flat the whole time.

Filled up at 4.48 a gallon (1.12 a liter in Canada right now!)

Also, just finished putting on new brake pads, a new alt belt and giving it a tranny flush.

Getting my summer mods ready to go, should have some new stuff to post in about 2 weeks... if gas prices don't force me to park it and take my bike....

Kansei, you have a garage laptop? Dude, you need to get a life outside the 'Net! LOL

I'm trying to spread the love around since I have been spending the most on the Speed lately. Yesterday I won a set of factory brushed finish emblems (MSP style) for the Pro. This means I will have to listen to my gf complain yet again about the pile of stuff that is growing in the bedroom (she won't put it elsewhere in spite of my telling her the exact places it will fit). Man, am I gonna be busy when I get home! If it ends up being like last time, I'll be in the garage working at 0400 when I'm up due to jetlag.

No, the ship lag gets taken care of pretty shortly after I get home. Depends upon what time my flight arrives and what all the kids are doing, but my gf and I take some quality time by ourselves.
