yeah it's a major difference. The first time I noticed was like a month ago when I unturbo'd the car for a week. It was hugely depressing. No doubt though, the car was still a blast to drive before the turbo. It was just a different kind of fun I guess? The car still has the handling, it's now just a bit rowdier and harder to get the power to the ground (at least in my current LSD-less state).

Mmmmm--turbo power. Today I took my P5 on the same course I took the MS3. It was fun. But not as much fun.

I'm a modest NA guy at heart, though. I'd be happy with 130whp and a nice midrange. Sadly, that would cost almost as much as a KLZE swap.

the kl-ze swap would be nice.. the reason I went the turbo route instead was that I can still get 36mpg if I want to (well just if it's a highway trip).. I still get 29.5ish mpg on any given city/highway mix tank (obviously one without an autocross event)

Jealous rage: my P5 pigs at 26mpg. 75mph doesn't mix well with Yakima drag.

I actually did this yesterday, but since the forum was down the ENTIRE TIME, I'm forced to put it up today.

I shortened the door lock ***** so they don't jam into my elbow when I cruise with the windows down, and then installed a passenger side door lock switch as well while I was at it. Here are the pics

UNLOCKED

gross why give your passengers the freedom to leave the car?? lol

oh and Josh --I've gotten 34 with turbo, roof rack, and mountain bike on the roof rack.. that's with 71mph cruise speed though. Every little bit of going slower helps :P

I like the way it looks, it kinda needs to be there anyway. Always thought it was pretty stupid of Mazda to leave that off, and after listening to so much whining and complaining from my g/f I figured it was about time I added it.

woot!!! general discussion ftw! i gotta get in on this one, too....

i got my rear msp skirt installed on friday - makes the car look 80000000000x better.

went down to Connecticut over the long weekend, hit a monstrously large dear carcus on rt 91 near springfield, mass. pissed me off, becuase it destroyed my autoexe lower arm bar. fortunatly, didn't do anything else, except get the underside of my car all hairy and bloody.
