I'm actually excited about finally conquering the front sway bar tomorrow

okay. today got the front motor mount in. awesome. problem....got the rear almost all the way off. one damn bolt stripped out...how the hell am i going to fix that. had to put the crap back together and gonna try another day.
? take intake manifold off and try from there? any suggestions.

It's a lot easier to work on the mount with the intake manifold off, but the intake manifold is like 20 bolts to get it apart and off, and you're likely to need to replace the gaskets on it while you have it apart :P

yeah im gonna order a new set of gaskets. we had no issues with doing the mount with the manifold on....the last bolt...stripped out. my buddy was pissed. so were gonna wait a week. take the manifold off and try again. the front mount was f***ed and the rear is shot too. but as long as i got the front on a week should be okay. gonna try to remove the vtcs while were at it.

I just ordered a Racing Beat catback for teh P5 to replace the Mazdaspeed (Borla) axleback I have right now. Hopefully it'll quiet things down a bit, cuz my car's a bit loud now after installing the MAM midpipe.
