Angry What's wrong with Silver P5

I was talking to some people recently and they said that the Silver P5 is too "blah and boring" and that there were too many out there. They prefer the red and yellow. I was crushed. I love my car in Silver, especially with the reflective tint. Oh well.. I know my car is not "flamboyant" but I still find it nice no matter what people think of it. Silver is subtle and doesn't show when it's dirty

So there.. now I feel better

alot of people have silver cars (especially Pro 5 in Ontario) due to that reason....it doesn't look dirty most of the time especially in the winter!!!!........you saw the Quebec protege club they had 5 pro 5's that where blue...just depends on the region i guess

Yeah, but everyone and their dogs have silver cars... Silver P5s, silver Civics, silver Accords... You get the idea... BUT, if silver makes you happy, terrific, it makes us happy Actually, I really didn't care what colour of car I got, it just so happened to be red. On the other hand, I really prefer silver jewellery on my GF!

I like my silver P5... as an added bonus it does not seem to attract as much attention when sitting in the parking lot at my apartment complex. My friend's GF has had her car (bright red Honda) broken into twice in the span of two months!

There was this other guy with a yellow P5 pulling out of the parking lot right after me, and he had to stay behind me for a good 5 KM...but the point is that my car stud out more due to the 5% limo tint, and the fact that I had 5speed trany under me and I was a lot quiker going uphill than him...anyway..the point is...that no matter what color your car is..just make it stand out \ modify it, then people are donna say: "Look at that fat P5, insted of the stock P5 next to u.

The main reason I got my P5 in the silver - other than being easier to hide scratches, keep clean and cause it just looks so damn cool in silver, is because they didn't offer a "gunmetal gray". If my paint ever goes to crap ( did I just say if - lol ) it is definately getting a new splash of color. For some reason I just love the look of Gunmetal Grey on cars. Look at this beauty and tell me that it does not look great. (doesn't hurt if you have the car either)

First off, know that I'm biased because I just bought my P5 in silver.

At first I wanted the blue mica, but someone else in my office building has one in blue and I didn't want to get them confused in the parking lot. I think the red looks great but my other car is red so I wanted to have some variety.

I thought long and hard about just going for the yellow, but to me it says "pay attention to me!" even more than the polished rims, and I'd hate to have people yelling "TAXI!" when I take it into the city. I mean, it does look a little like those new hatchbacks that some of the NYC cabbies drive.

Forget white, since I'm not a soccer mom (no offense to anyone who has one), so that left me with silver or black. Without a garage at my apartment and lots of trees covering the driveway, the car is going get dirty, making black a really bad idea.

So I went with silver...yeah, there may be a lot of them, but I'd rather have a clean-looking car that's more common than a slightly less-seen P5 that often looks more tan than black, or green in the spring from all the pollen in the air. Looking at it, the "sunlight silver metallic" is appropriately named, as it really sparkles in the sun. It's not too flashy, but coupled with the leather interior the P5 exudes a cool elegance that totally belies it's $17,000 price tag.

Color is a very personal preference....get what you like and be happy!

seb I have a red P5 but that is only because my wife wanted the red....I would've gone with the white as a first choice and silver second...I just that dark colored cars show flaws too easily...for example hairline scratches dirt stuff like that....silver is a good choice IMHO

Red is my favorite color on the P5...but a year and a bit ago when I got a new car, I got a red P5 Auto. (Auto cuz my mom has to drive it too, now a year later it got a bit busy with trying to use the car so I just went and got another one. Yellow this time though. Just looks reallll good with limo tint

Only choices for me were white or silver. Went with silver cause it had the sun roof. Black = always dirty. Only thing Blue, Red or Yellow would have gotten me is locked up. Wanna stand out go for it. I like to fly under the radar

HEY!! You have a problem with the Vivid Yellow P5?!! I only had 3 people yell "Hey Taxi!"...lol...just kidding...I love my yellow P5, and I get alot of turned heads and comments about it. It all boils down to personal preference. Silver was my second choice, but there wasnt really a second choice for me, I had to have the yellow

Yep I had to go yellow too for the Juggalo Wagon. I have no idea really why, I just saw it and said I want it. I probably thought about getting this car for ohh about maybe a whole day before I made my decision.
