Besides the LX doesn't come with alloy wheels (very important for your ride unless you plan on buying aftermarket ones later) and by the time you add that cost to it you are nearly at the price of an ES.
yea i'm young, but looks arent that important to me. besides, i'd get the laser blue w/ gray interior . as far as wheels, i think the new LX comes with 15" alloy wheels, and while 16" may be nice, wheels are mostly a cosmetic thing than anything else. sure it may let you upgrade your tires, but for a commuter ride, it doesnt make much sense. and with my stock 92hp auto, i've already shown 1 or 2 big-wing, big-bodykit, chrome-rimmed civics a thing or two about actual performance and performance looking.

thanks for the input

i've gotten a lot of input from people with experiences testing/driving VWs, sentras, and lancers, but what about those of you who are the hands-on guys and gals? is there much i can do to a 95 LX if it dies and i want to resurrect it? performance mods? factored in with the cost of fixing/cost of a new car, or would it be better just to get a new car since this will be my primary mode of transportation? thanks.

Don't forget the ergonomics. I believe the Pro is one of the best. For example, the radio. PS, nice avatar and name.

thanks, speaking of radio, i'm noticing many new cars have a newly designed dash and panel, how are the new proteges when it comes to swapping out the radio? will i be able to use my current cd player in a new protege? in other words, is it the standard DIN or proprietary?

Double DIN, you have to buy a pocket.
