I just purchased my 1st after marked part for my mp5, A cold air intake off of ebay and a k&N filter to replace the paper one thet comes with it.

I have been reading around the forums and found alot of you like the Ractive headers, so i decited to search for it and pick me up a pair but cant find an online store any where, anyone know where to pick up a ractive header for a 2003 mp5 2.0? Also are the n-1 exhaust you see on ebay any good or just that whinny crap you always see on hondas.?

I could use some help as i finnally have the cash for my car but i wana make the right choices, any help would be great.

 

Do you want to stay emissions friendly because that eliminates the first cat and since u live in Cali it will get rid of it and cause you to fail the emissions test. I would go for the shorty header from http://www.wagnermotorsports.net/headers.htm and also is cheaper then the ractive one.

 

how much horse power will i get to the wheels with the wagner than the ractive

oh can i also have a link to an online store that sells the ractive or any mp5 parts

 

I agree, the wagner shorty is the way to go if you want to stay emissions legal. You can also get a high flow dp w/cat and high flow mp w/ cat from wagner to see even better performance increase, all the whille staying legal.

If you don't intend to stay with both cats, protegegarage.com has a great group buy going on the ss OBX header and ss OBX 3 inch catback exhaust system - $499 + shipping.

 

I believe someone has actual dyno #s showing a gain of 8 hp with just the wagner shorty by itself.

will i get a check engin light with a full header or with the wagner header? also what exhaust systems do you recommend for the wagner
