very easy, you'll need a drill, phillips screw driver, and a small wrench I think a 7mm.

It comes w/ dirrections, and mounting hardware.

It is very sturdy

I'll take a pic of it from underneath!

I'm ordering this from my local dealer but I have not been told a price as yet but probably around the $130 CDN range.

I had planned on getting a custom one done from a friend of mine who runs a plastic manufacturing shop and he said he could make me one for about $100 CDN out of ABS but I think I will stick with the dealer.

The real reason I am buying mine is to protect the bottom lip. Our P5 is lowered and I am real careful with curbs and driveway entrances but every so often you miss one. The other thing is that I have to be concerned about the piece lasting through the winter so that it does not crack. In my city it can drop down to -40°C during winter and you know how cold affects plastic. Plus if it is a Mazda part I would assume the warranty would be in effect so if it breaks, it will be replaced.

Breaks from what? A curb? An impact of some sort? No warranty for that.

I don't see how this thing could possibly break from anything other than a hit, and Mazda certainly isn't going to pay for it.

If you are handy with fiberglass you can do a full spliter with side "wings" for less than $25.

Chris,

It lasts fine through the winter. After my accident, mine got cracked, but it's definitly repareable. Since I'm getting a WW kit instead, I won't need it anymore and I'd be happy to sell it to ya! It's got 1 break and 1 crack, but they're both easily fixed with superglue and you won't even be able to tell. Let me know if you're interested.

Thanks Nick but I just ordered mine this week. Sorry. I was considering the WW kit too but it was a little pricey for me.
