Windshield whistle at 80 +

I do not kow if this has been addressed but I have seen a few that are not what I have.

I have a whistle that usually starts around 80mph and continust on up.
If I press on the windshield fron the inside it goesaway untill I quit pressing.

WHAT IS IT.

I am not sure if it is the leading edge of the weather strip or the small pocket ( dip) in it.

Hmmm, mine starts to make a lot of noise around 60+. I just turn up the stereo.
I've heard a lot of people complain about windshield noise but I never tried to press against it when I was going 80!
'Course, the noise seems to come from the passenger side, so it's a bit of a reach.

03ESpro, Edwin's faq is a GREAT for newbies...however it's not kept current and about 30% of that info was false now!

What a great read. Isn't that stickied somewhere here??? It should be the opening page of the forum!

What's false in Edwin's FAQ ?? I read it over. Appears to be 100% accurate. It leaves out some aftermarket parts as far as what's available, but the Protege specific info is all good. And other than parts it is VERY up to date.

I think he's just talking about some of the parts availability, because it really good use a good update on that stuff. I've yet to find anything else that isn't kosher.
