Without trying to be a hater...It's your car, but why would you pay good money for that stuff man? The stock appearance is sooooo much cleaner. Spend your money on performance, Wings West is just RICE!!!

I could respond to this in a variety of ways, mostly negative, but i wont, because you are entitled to your opinion. I will say this, it is worth it to me to stand out in a carshow. Whereas the stockkit is clean, it is like 20000 other stock kits! Wings west kit is noticably aftermarket, but not crazy extreme like some celica kits i saw at a recent car show.

I have trophies from a former subaru 01 2.5 RS that i had thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours invested into. Both "rice" and performance mods. To me that is worth it. As for performance mods, i have them and are planning more. I can already dust a stock mp5 with little effort. Brubreck can attest to that!!!

I didn't know that this kit would fit the Wagon.... I talked with the WW Rep @ sema last year and he had mentioned that the flare kit was not the same... Just to let you know you might want to check.I personally like the kit because it is different like mp5 said, and not the same as everyone else (I still like the mintblue kit better though) personal prefrance.

With the WW kit, do you graft the additions on to your existing P5 bumper or are they sending you a complete molded unit?

P.S.---> do what you gotta do to be different I say! I like the idea of trying the kit on a P5! I like anything that wasen't intended...like breaking the rules!!

this is the only problem with the ww kit for the p5, the rear bumper does not fit, the sedans are longer from the rear tires to the bumper so it does not fit , I was going to get it but thought to myself no because I don't want half a body kit

Let me ask you this MP5, if yours was the only P5 in all of the US wich bodykit would you rather have, the wings west one or the original P5 one? (it would stand out no matter what)

Personally I think it looks a litle "overdone", but to each his own, congratulations on your new body kit though, remember to post some pics as soon as soon as it's done!.

Thumbs down

I hate people that call anyone that does any modification to their car a "ricer". If your P5 came without a body kit and you decided to put the (original) Mazda kit you will still be called a ricer. "Uh only a ricer would put those big'ol fog lamps." Or "dude why you put that big'ol wing on the back."

To me a ricer does not have money to do the right modifications to their car, i.e. a 1984 Cavalier all rusted out with a APC logo on the windshield and a WW look-a-like wing on the back, still painted in primer.

Dam, the windshield wiper LED's where cool until you where able to find them at Kroger, now my grandma have them (you get the point). I still like them, but I wont use them. I got called a "ricer" here because of my NOS Bazookas; well I dont want Nitrous but I like the look of the bottles. At least they are hooked to something even if its an amplifier other people get the bottle and its not even hooked to anything.

One reason I got the P5 is because of its good looks and is not on every garage. If I wanted a 13 second car I would have gotten a RX-7, Supra, or even a Civic (plenty of aftermarket).

PS - I wish I could get the Mintblue kit (without the huge wing ) so kudos to you, cant wait for you to finish your project. Good luck.

Lets see how much heat I get this time

Happy 4th of July

I personally think the ww kit is going to look good on your P5. I plan on buying just the sideskirts and mixing it with my Autoexe front lip.
