www.mazdastuff.com needs work!!

Little bitch session...

I emailed www.mazdastuff.com Tuesday May28th and asked if the Mazda Sport Exhaust was in stock. Upon receiving the email confirming they had some in stock, I blip'd over to the website, bought it and emailed them back saying "I bought it, here's my order number, thanks a bunch!".

2 Days Later!!...

I wrote an email to say "did my package ship and if so what is the tracking number?" I got back an email saying. "We're out of stock but your name is on the first one that comes in our next shipment".

I freaked!! Demanded an explanation and long, long story short.
He said that he thought that I was one of the purchasers that day but when he looked into it further, their service dept. had sold them all and I was left in the dust.

In conclusion, if you do business with them keep one thing in mind... You do not get a "quantity on hand" confirmation when buying and if you do buy something, there is no electronic confirmation that what you bought is in stock. And emailing to confirm inventory doesn't work either.

I will follow-up on this after this sale is completed (yes I didn't cancell my order, I am trying to be patient about this and give them another chance.

I'm not sure how much experience you have buying this through the mail, but that's very common. I pretty much assume the worst and ask specific questions over the phone whenever possible. Even then, you get the rare occaisons where someone lies to you directly, even on the phone. I just remember never to do business with those places again.

You're right.

I did try though and chat before buying just so that I could confirm inventory. I am not aware of any other place besides my **** *** dealer that has the sport exhaust for $195.

Do you?

Mazda Sport Saga

Well, I got an email yesterday saying that it had shipped. Yipee!
I had to wait a week but oh well.

Not!

Today, one day after receiving an email that it had shipped. I received another email telling me that they shipped a MP3 exhaust and that I will have to ship it back and wait longer.

These dipshits suck!

These are the days of our lives....

Best thing to do with those guys is call and not order online. But even then they are likely to screw up. They sent me a mess of crap with my strut tower brace. It took me a week to convince them that:

A. They had sent me a stock cruise control actuator bracket.
B. That I needed the cruise control actuator bracket from the P5.

Luckily I got all the parts I needed in time to install it the day I wanted to. Next time I want something from them I may just take a little road trip down to Austin.

not MAZDASPEED....MazdaStuff.com and although THEY made the mistake in my case...they admitted it quickly...and jumped through their butt to make it right...so that goes a long way in my book....at least its not a part that has my car on its butt and I am waiting for it.....if that were the case I would pay a few extra bucks and buy it from a local dealer.

I must have been drunk...I meant mazdastuff.com

Well it's Monday and I got another email from Mazdastuff.com

Since they sent me the wrong exhaust they are sending a UPS return authorization to get the exhaust back to them.

He said it would take another couple of weeks before he has another exhaust for me.

I told him that I would contact them on the 24th (2 weeks from today) to see if it is in stock. If not, then cancel my order.

I told him that I would not have bought it if it was on backorder, I asked if it was in stock, they said it was in stock, it wasn't in stock.

We'll see what happens next. I'm guessing a restocking fee of a backordered part. Yeah right!!

The conclusion?...

Mazdastuff emailed me this morning and said the new correct exhaust is in stock and that as soon as the wrong one (still at my house, UPS hasn't picked it up yet) gets back to them they will mail the correct one out.

I wrote back and asked if they could charge me for the correct one and mail it to me and then just credit me for the incorrect one when it gets back to them.

I just received an email from mazdastuff and they are mailing me the correct one without charging me!!!

I would have to say that in the end (I friggin hope it's the end) they took care of the customer. There only problem is a poorly designed website that doesn't manage inventory.

The End (I hope)

I don't understand....IF they gave UPS the pick up order they should have gone ahead and sent you the right part....

that is what they did for me....they mailed out the CORRECT bra to me.....and UPS didn't even pick up the WRONG one until two days later.....hmmmm oh well...hope you do get the right one....

It sounds like they wanted to sit on it but after I asked they must have decided it was okay to ship the new one even though the incorrect one is still at my house.

I'm crossing my toes on this one!
