03 LX to ES/MSP

Some pictures from my day swappin out the boss's suspension from 03LX (everything) to MSP. From 4lug to 5 and from rear drum to 4wheel disc. Busy, back breakin day (sill recovering). But well worth it, the car is unbelieveable now. Well here you go let me know what you think....

I did that swap in 3 easy steps:
1) trade 03 LX for 03.5 MSP
2) hit an old lady with 03.5MSP
3) collect insurance money and buy 03 MSP
4) Enjoy!

sorry for threadjack..... nice look'n ride.

import_tuner I'm trying to help you out here, QWKSILVR and I are parts guys and it took a lot of decision making to decide how we were going to go about this conversion. You will run up against so many problems and headaches if you try to do this piece by piece. If you find a wrecked Protege with the setup your looking for there is only 6 bolts that bolt in the rear suspension crossmember, grab the whole thing. And the Mazdaspeed rear crossmember is different, it's reinforced around the sway bar mounts.
