AWR bar tuning

Anyone with AWR adjustable bar had chance to tweak it?
There's 2 ways to do it-by moving end links closer to edges or by shortening/extending end links?
There's not much place to move end-links(maybe 2 inches max), but what is the RIGHT way to stiffen it(reduce understeer)-make end-links as short as possible(pulls bar ends UP) of make them as long as possible(pushing ends DOWN)
Either way"pre-loads" bar, but I have a feeling that pushing ends UP is not right and after I did that car SEEMED to understeer more.
Any other suggestions?
Damn Toronto, no curves to check settings out!
Thanks
Alex

Every day(for 2 years) I take same off ramp. It's all "butt" feeling, so i am very sceptical of my sensations, but after I installed bar I could take it at EASY 80 km/h, after I pushed ends up I can take it at BARELY 80 km/h.
Anyway, I will re-adjust it today "to the other end of the spectrum" and see how it feels.

I've had my 21.5-mm bar on for about 3 weeks now and installed it at the same time as new 215/40ZR-17 T1-S Proxes. I like the bar, and personally think it works well with the stock front bar on my P5. See my post on the 6-piece link set for what I think I need next, and let me know if you've noticed the same thing.

As far as adjustment goes, the link length isn't going to change much. It just allows you to set the bar up with zero pre-load torsion from side to side, and if necessary level the rear sag from side to side. I don't see how changing length of both equally is going to make much difference, since the bar floats in it's bushings, and will simply rotate to accommodate a change in length. I have them as short as practical to get the best ground clearance.

Moving the bar clamps closer to the ends of the bar will make the bar slightly softer, as deflections will be acting on a longer moment arm. Moving inboard from the ends will firm it up, but the lateral links are kind of in the way of going too far in.

If there’s any more to setting this thing up then that, I’m clueless.

I set mine up with the clamps all the way to the ends, and angled out just a tad to align the spherical bearings as best I could. Handling is near neutral as long my steering input is smooth, and just a bit of over steer when jerked. It’s super hard to get those Toyo’s to break lose though.

Except for some noises that are likely associated with the bar install, that I haven’t bothered to look at yet, I’m glad I went with the bigger bar.

Thanks a lot!
Is it true that "pre-loading" of bar is not correct? End links are adjustable so I could move mounting points without having any pressure put on the bar in either directions-with car on flat ground(not jacked up)?
