I never said the pads and rotors dont heat the fluid up, but brake ducts aren't going to cool the fluid unless you duct air to your brake reservoir, heat will be transfered to the fluid regardless of what pads, rotors or brake lines you have, the fluid goes through the clipers which are heated from the friction of the pads on the rotors converting the energy. The brake ducts will lower brake rotor and pad temps (and I guess in doing so lower your fluid temps) but nithing REALLY susbstantial to your fluid temp. I guess Im a gentle braker on track then cause like I said, I've never faded brakes at the track and I dont drive slow and gentle either.

I've faded the stock brakes but I doubt with the brembo's and some actual racing ceramics I wouldn't.

Also, you should try dropping down your wheel size to some 15" wheels with some low profile tires to help you out. I do this at the track and it makes a LOT of difference.

The smaller and lighter wheels will also require less effort to stop, so his brakes shouldn't have to work as hard to slow them down.

Yep, I refuse to upgrade my 14"'s to 17"s...It'll make me too slow...already dealing with a 1.6L to begin with
