I would like to know if my stocks Struts are going. I have had the Racing Beat Springs since October on my MP5 and recently whenever i go over small bumps in the road and my daily drive over speed bumps at my job's parking lot i definitely feel it more than before and its hitting harder. Lets put it this way even minor bumps in the road the vibration is causing my cd deck (aftermarket) to skip more frequently. My suspension doesn't feel as tight as before. So what do ya think???

 

Sounds like the struts could be the culprit. If you can, remove one and test it off the car. That's the best way to tell if it's really gone or not. The old bounce the corner of the car and see how quickly it stops moving works a lot better on big, heavy, old cars with fairly soft springs. Smaller, lighter cars with stiffer springs won't continue to move for long even if the struts are bad.

I talked with the guys at Tokico about struts they are at the RD and the ETA s sometime mid July or at the end.

 

That's good to hear since there isn't much choices out for Struts right now only the Mazdaspeed Adjustable, OEM Replacement, MP3 Struts if i remember correctly.

 

How many clicks did you pur on the car since October?
I had my RB's on for 4 monthes and no problems.

Lets see its been a year with the car as of last week and im coming up on 15,000 miles. If i remember correctly i had 4,000miles when i had the springs installed.
