Is this a toss up between lowering springs or coilovers??

since our car tends to sit up in the rear....and the eibach's drop the rear just a little more than the front....they tend to make the car set more level...or at least appear so with the gaps over the tops of the wheels. I believe this tends to be the reason most people pick the eibach's

Well, just my opinion, if I was in the market, I'd probably get coil overs because you can lower them for the summer time and raise them up in the winter. But like I said, thats my opinion.

I have skunk2 coilovers, and they do slam the car. However, ride quality is sucky...I would go with spool springs if I could do it again, but they are backordered. If you want to look lower than an inch or two, you will have to go with coilovers. You say money is no object, the jic or tein coilover set would be what you really want. Some cars on here have them, and have nothing but good things to say about them. Hope this helps

Just curious as to why you would not consider the Progress or Tein Springs also?

I had coilovers in my 240sx and yes the ride sux, but that's cause it was for circuit use. I just installed Eibachs in my 03 P5 and I love them.

Just my two cents....I have Intrax and I love them. The ride quality is good and the drop is perfect, it sits nice on 17s.

I read that H&R's are basically rebranded Eibach.

But that is not confirmed and it's mostly a rumour...

That is not true. H&Rs are much stiffer than Eibachs.
