Eibach Pro-Kit Springs Question!!!!

Just wandering if those of you with pro-kit springs could tell me how their ride is and what they think of them. Do they jar you to death or is the ride okay?

I don't have them, but run a search on them...

I guess the general consensus is they are stiffer than stock, but not enough for an immediate back alignment. The main competition is H&R springs which have slightly higher spring rates for better handling but a harsher ride. If you can eventually afford better struts go with either set depending on what you are looking for...

i got them. they are pretty firm, but not harsh. the ride is definitely firmer than stock, but it's not bone jarring. my girlfriend notices the bumps more, but it's not bad. cornering and braking have improved by leaps and bounds. now all i need is some properly tuned shocks to help out the ride.

if you do a search with keywords "eibach ride" or "eibach harsh," i'm sure you will find a plethora of threads about this very topic.

just trying to help point you in the right direction.

I just installed mine this weekend, but I feel like they're no harsher than the stock ride. At high speeds on good road I think they actually ride a little better than stock.

I've had mine on for about 2 months now. I haven't had any alignment problems, which is an issue sometimes when lowering. The ride is definately stiffer, but I think it is much more enjoyable than the stock ride. They are also very compatible with the stock struts, but upgrades should be done to them eventually. Overall, one of the best mods I have done. The only down side is, the tires are now way overmatched and are the glaring weak point in the suspension. Buying the springs just gives you a legitimate excuse to get better tires and struts!!

yeah the tires are the weak point before you even touch the suspension. You will notice a bigger improvement with tires alone, so I would go with them before the springs, unless you are going more for looks initially...

Well i drive an MX-3 but i guess im gonna go ahead and order them they are supposed to drop the car 1.5 inches which is good enough for me. I already have 17's rapped in Kumho rubber and tower bar braces front and rear so all i need is the springs and struts but factory struts will have to do for now.
