I was weary getting the Eibach kit. What part number did you get? The reason being that it lowers more in the rear than the front and with our P5 it will lower even more than the sedan.

Did you get the same part number as the sedan's? Just curious. I would not reccomend installing them until you do get some assurance from another member.

My H&R's with equal drop front and rear, still lowered a little more in the back. But I could be wrong, they may have a P5 part number now. Thought I'd let you know as I've not offered this kit to any of my P5 clients.

See ya, Rishie

The Eibachs for the sedan do lower the rear more than the front. The rear of the sedan sits higher than the front when stock. My car looks much closer to level with the Eibach springs.

I feel you on that Pseudo, it's like that with most European type vehicles where the top of the curve actually flattens out a little and sits lower than the front. So when they are lowered equally, the rear will always look lower.

The difference in my mind is this, the protege5 obviously has more weight in the rear in comparison to the sedan. Due to the fact the HR's has the same part number for both the wagon and sedan, you know the wagon will lower more due to weight. HR based it's lowering numbers on the sedan, not the wagon. I am letting the guys know that it does actually sit lower in the rear. Appears to have a little sag, and I would reccomend that they increase the spring rate slightly. It is a very small measurement and the regular guy will see no problem in aesthetics. I just bought them to lower the damn car until my JIC magic coilovers come in. hehe. A little overboard, but I'll be a major distributor and what better of a way to market the product. Carbon Fiber strut tower braces, full titanium exhaust systems, and the list goes on.

I am more concerned with the indicated lowering of the Eibachs in comparison to the HR's. It just doesn't sound like the Eibachs will look right on the Protege5.

Make sure you get a pic or just buy the HR's, I love mine. I got pics with 18's of mine as well. You'll really think it's perfect.

See ya, Rishie

That does look great. Awesome stance. Could you please give me the part number off your box. I'd like to cross check it with what I got in my system.

Thanks a lot,

Rishie

How do you upload pics too? I'm probably just blind and inexperienced.

about uploading pics.

you need to host your pics on another web server first. Try using Sony's Imagestation.

would love to see those pics ARD. in advance, what type of rims do you have and can you give me all the measurements of your rims and tires. Its just that I want to get the HR's and really want 18's but am curious as to what size tires/rims i need. do you rub at all? thanks, anyone else have pics of their car with the Eiback Pro Kit Springs or HR's. thanks

I have all the rims honestly, it's sifting through everything to make proper matches.

I'm running SSR GT1's, 18,7.5 +45mm offset with 215./35/18 Yokohama Parada. Yes I rub on both sides, but then put in camber bolts and only rub on the passenger side slightly now. Really annoying. My wheels will fit an MP3 perfectly, their fenders have more room apparently. I just test fit it on a sedan and mashed around on those Giovanna's with the same fitment. It didn't rub.

Anyone interested in a killer deal on some new SSR GT1 forged wheels? Will fit several applications actually. Kind of disappointing, I could negative camber more and shave the wheel, but I don't want to do that. I want the good fit.

You tell me your needs, budget, style and i'll find you the wheels.

Thanks, Rishie

well, id really like to know what measurement tires/rims i should look for to get 18's on my P5 without rubbing. I dont mind adjusting the camber(but i think that will be necessary no matter what). My only concern is whether i should go with the Eibach Pro Kit or the HR's. I think, pending pictures, im gonna go with HR's. Does anyone else out there have 18's on their lowered P5 where theres no rubbing? please post pics, thanks!

PS. sorry, im just really anxious to figure out what size tires/rims i should be looking for and what kinda lowering option i should go with so i can get no rubbing and finally actually go and get it done, heh. thanks everyone!
