GT SPEC install

MazdaSpeed GT SPEC 4 Pt Ladder bar install

The Gt-Spec ladder bar system replaces the factory piece. I must say when I got this in the mail I was amazed the craftsmenship and the paint job was great, and just to think the parts that Gt- Spec supply to us mazda owners actully work. The Ladder bar was a breeze to install just four bolts to remove from the factory piece and then just bolt up the new one. I recomend that you leave all the bolts loose untill you have them all in place and then tighten them up one by one. You will notice that the Gt-Spec piece is remarkably lighter and it looks a lot better too.

MazdaSpeed front Tie Bar Install

Like the Ladder bar, the front Tie Bar was a snap to install. Out of all the products from Gt- Spec I noticed the most improvement from this installation. My handling has greatly improved. My suspension is extremely tight, and the response from the steering is really quick. And like all the parts it came to my door painted and ready to be installed. There are two bolts you have to remove to add the Tie bar to your car. You will have to take your time with this one the two bolts also hold the lower arm, you will have to wiggle the lower arm too help remove the bolts.

MazdaSpeed Rear protactive Panel and V Bracing

The rear protective panel was a little tricky to install because of the four factory bolt placement. Once you remove these bolts, the installation of the protective plate then becomes very easy.Check pictures of install. The V bracing contects to the protective panel and the frame of the car. The bolts that come with the V Bracing, are used for the install of the V Bracing to the frame.
!!You cannot install the V Bracing unless you have the protective panel(plate)!!

GT SPEC's products are awesome, not only did this install improve my handling but the quality is exceptional. I have the orange MazdaSpeed, the suspension products from GT SPEC come painted either Spicy Orange or blue. The orange color has the gold flake , just like the car. My undercarriage now looks awesome. In addition to the 4 point ladder bar install, i also have the GT SPEC front tie bar, rear latteral bars, strut tower bar and truck reinforcement bars. All of this will be posted soon with install information. Please check out the pictures on the site below. And visit, www.GTSPEC.com for all products and contact info. I will admit the 4-point ladder bar and the front lower tie bar are awesome...but one pet peeve. The front lower tie bar gets in the way for both oil and gear oil changes! Must be completely (or almost completely) removed to change gear oil, and if you don't hold something like cardboard in front of it, the engine oil when draining aims right for it!
