eibachs are good springs , if I may say so, one of the best. the Ground controls are nice coilovers but make sure you know that your shocks will deteriate with drops lower than 2.5" s . This is due to the factory shocks basically not being strong enough to handle that spring rate of the GC's and the car also being so low. GC's are nice however if you are into shows or don't work far from home and don't put much mileage on your car, also if you don't live in a city like new york , where the roads are crap and weak shocks won't last 6 months...

The guy that cut your springs should have at least asked you before doing it . The dropped looked like a 2" to a 2.5" drop cause your front tires had a damn good tuck ...

At anyrate if us mazda guys were fortunate to be offered kyb AGX's , they would be a sweet alternative as they are not that expensive , average 100 bucks per strut ..

Bruce, I'm pretty sure the GC coilovers use Eibach prings.... So as long as it's not too low, they should perform the same, no?

Yeah the ground controls do use eibachs... my boyfriend has a set sitting in his room and they say eibach...DUH!! i'm a dumb ***. I have set of ground controls too!! I forgot i had them.. well with all the **** thats been going!! And to top off a bad day already i got a phone call and Jake..( my friend frm NC) was supposed to go to the beach and car show with. The show is on saturday but i took off wed, thurs, fri ... too relax and get away from work and plus jake wanted to come wednesday.. well i booked the extra days for the hotel and take the days off work... and guess what... HE CALLS AND SAYS HE CANT COME!! and i cant cancel the hotel cuz now its too late.. now i'll be at the beach all by myself til friday.. when my boyfriend comes..and I'm out alot of money and 3 vacation days from work!! GOD.. i have no luck in the world... HOW BOUT... CAN I GET SOME LOVE!!! I'M HURTING HERE.

I just had to say that I feel for you babygirl. I think that there aren't enough girls in the import world yet so alot of guys (not all) feel that girls are out of place trying to mods their cars and that they can take advantage of them because they "don't know anything about cars". Trust me I've been screwed with a number of times. The first time was before the Protege was my car and I took it to the shop to get a ZEX kit installed on it for my boyfriend. The guy at the shop did a half *** install and they tried to over charge me from the quoted price by $100. After fighting with the guy for 20 minutes and calling him every name in the book and swearing I would NEVER take my car their again I told him who my boyfriend was and got him on the phone to talk to him. The owner knew my boyfriend and knows that he spends lots of $ on his rides. From that point on the guy started kissing my ***. I've had the same things happen at a few different shops in this area. The said thing now is that they all know who I am and not to screw with me cause I WILL get my way. Now when it comes to myself or my boyfriend modding our vehicles I always go along to make sure things go right and we don't get screwed with anymore. Make the guy fix what he broke and give you what you ordered. Don't let ******* guys walk all over you or I'll do it again and again. If you stand up for yourself and learn your **** they won't be able to screw you over again and they will learn to respect you alot more.

 

This is america ,you can just sue them.
