I'm about to purchase a set of HP's for my 02 P5 and i wanted to know if anyone have bought them from Ebay.

1st Seller - Motorsportsdirect $340 Shipped
2nd Seller - jdmwerks13 $339 Shipped.

anyone dealt with them or buy sturts off these guys?

as always, any input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

yeah jdmwerks is notorious for not replying to ppl who havent already purchased the product you are asking about. i've never dealt with motorsportsdirect.

no i havent, but i did go to a local shop today and bought me some tokico illumas struts for only 30 dollars more then e-bays price (and no delivery charge and since they are installing them im only paying 130 dollars for installation) and some Ground Control adjustable springs which all will be installed on my car this weekend or next week.

I just bought a HP kit (struts/shocks/springs) from JDMwerks on eBay, and the first thing I got was an email from them saying they were swamped with mail so not to expect any sort of response. The mail went on to say that the item would be shipped as soon as payment was received. Not sure if that is bull or not, I'll find out when I get my kit.

I bought the Tokico HPs from jdmwerks last week and they're waiting for me back at home. I was happy with him. I called him and did my transaction over the phone, but he prefers paypal.

My kit from JDMWerks was $420 shipped. It is supposed to be here on Friday, which isn't too bad considering I paid using a money order. I will say their communication leaves much to be desired.

I just purchased struts from motorsportsdirect on ebay and it went very smooth. Nice shipping. If you pay through paypal, they will automatically send the tracking number through the paypal receipt. They also are swamped with emails. They sell close to 30 items a day. So they are hard to get a responce from. So if you are patient, your parts will come.

I think AutoRnD is still selling the Tokico HP and Espelir spring combo for 550 shipped. I have them and am very pleased!

Finally got my HP kit from JDMWerks yesterday. Delay in shipment due to some train delay with UPS. The kit was in the factory box so was well packed. I have to say I am very pleased with their speed, only thing lacking was communication. This is an issue with me, especially when I am dealing with a company for the first time. Still, I can't argue with their prices or the results.

Okay, follow up to my previous post... got the HPs installed and I couldn't be happier. The ride is great; firm yet not over bearing, and the handling has been taken to that next level. JDMWerks has my approval.
