P5, lowered w/TEIN S, problem UPDATE = BAD
ok, my good friend lowered his 2002 P5
F-1.8"
R-1.5"
hi has just springs on stock shocks.........
and his front tires are totaly worn out from inside
but he did not have alighment done yat
tomoro he will do it,
so what is the reason for front tires to be all worn out from inside?
dose he need chamber kit?
some spelling mistakes here and there still learning eng
if any of you want pic i will heve them over weekend
thank you
EDIT: alighment has been done monday, and tires are wearing out way faster than before alighment?
dose any of you run this springs on stock shoks?

after driving 2 weeks his tires were bald inside, (2 week old tires)
same day he put brand new tires 205-50-16 on stock rim, and lowered it same day
ya i think alighmen is a must, and it will be done tomorow,
thanks everyone for respond

jonesboy just installed Tein S-tech springs on his stock struts. I'll ask him if he's noticing any tire wear problems. Ususaly the rule is you don't need a camber kit for anything under 2" of drop. Your friend may have some sagging old struts though that are causing the car to drop more than expected.

struts=sag??
How on God's green earth can the condition of shocks have anything to do with sag RP? Springs are what hold the car up and control sag, shocks control the springs. You could have shocks with no oil and the sag would be the same.

the unusual tire wear is a severe toe problem in the front. an alignment to zero out the toe will be most beneficial. as for his tires, if they are worn beyond the wear bars, mind as well get new tires. it's not safe to ride on that kind of tire. good luck!
