Spring/Suspension Questions
Ok, I have a few questions...
1.Anyone know anything about Goldline springs? are they any good and what kind of ride quality?
2.If i got the goldlines(2" drop) would I need a camber kit?
3.Goldline or Tein?
4.What all would I need besides springs. Ive heard youd need struts an shocks right away, true or not?
Sorry for all the ?s thanks in advance

Everything I've heard about the Goldlines is good. Buy 'em from Chris at SPD Racing (FC3Sboy). He's a great guy--I got my intake from him. Check out his thread in the vendor
section.
You will not need a camber kit for a 2" drop.
As for the stock struts they will probably wear faster but you should be fine for quite some time.

depending on road conditions and how the struts are currently, they can last you 1K miles or 30K miles. if you have the funds, go for the struts now too since the same parts will need to come out for a strut replacement. saves you the hassle. if you're giving someone else money to put the springs in for you, then the struts changed out at the same time will save you on another install fee.

tokico calls them shocks, most people call them struts. since they also act as a pivot point for alignment, they are technically considered struts, but the terms are normally used interchangeably. tokico blues and illuminas are both very good "struts." the illuminas offer some adjustability and yes, they are noticeable adjustments. a 1 setting is soft like stock, a 3 setting is pretty darn firm and a 5 setting will punish your kidneys unless you're on a track. protegegarage has them as does apex in arizona (www.apexr1.com). good luck!
