sticky rear brake?

sticky rear brake?
OK... the car is going into the shop for this (hopefully under warranty, we'll see), but I though I would ask here to see if others have experienced something similar on the third gens with 4 wheel discs.
Last weekend I heard my right rear wheel squealing as I was driving, very light brake pedal pressure and it went away. So I though, "hmm, time for new pads." But being that I am **** I pulled over and went back to take a look... as I got to the passenger side rear of the car I could smell very hot brakes. I felt the rim and it was HOT! The other side was just warm. After some coold down time I went on my way and at the next rest stop (~40miles) I pulled in and now both sides felt at about the same temperature.
This incident has now repeated itself twice in the past week. Brake gets really hot at first. The I let it sit for a while and proceed onward with apparently normal operation.
I am not sure if this is an e-brake adjustment issue or a sticky caliper. The car is on the original rotors and pads at ~35k miles. I know that the front pads need replacement pretty bad (being done this week).
Anyone else have anything else like this happen (search turned nothing up)? Can this happen if the front pads are real low (i.e. somehow cause the rear one to drag a little)?
Seeing as this rotor is getting rather hot, when it is in for work should I also have the brake fluid bled out to make sure that any overheated fluid is removed? Could overheated fluid at one point cause this problem? I drive pretty hard, but never to the point of smelly brakes....
TIA

I had this problem on a Probe GT (which has the same rear brakes) and it turned out to be a combination a bad e-brake cable adjustment, and the caliper sticking...The shop told me that the e-brake was not completely disengaging becuase it needed adjustment and that is what started the problem...The heat build up broke down the grease on the slide pins so the caliper started sticking, so when I adjusted the cable the problem was still there...pull the wheel and check the pads and check the cable with the lever completely relased (hell also check the lube on the slide pins since you are there)...Even though it may not be noticable during driving. If the pad surface is touching the rotor more than normal, insane amounts of heat will build up...
