you can.

the stock struts are not designed for stiffer springs though and i beleive that they'll wear out prematurely as a result.

did you put on your springs or did you have somebody do it....if you did it how long did it take you or if somebody else did, how much was it?

I did mine in 3 hrs by myself. Pretty easy and straight forward. Having the proper tools made a huge difference and would have gone faster with another set of hands. I have heard of getting them installed fro $100-$200 depending on where you go.

Not trying to start a flame but it seems to me having incompatible shocks and struts are not the best for performance. For looks, it's all cool. But then why not just cut the springs....

The stock struts on the P5 are actually above average, especially when they are new. As far as cutting the springs, I won't even answer that one. Maybe someone else can take that one on.

I have stock struts with my springs and my handling has improved greatly. Of course its not the maximum performance for the springs, but my performance handling is twice as good. Performance struts will last longer and are made for performance springs. They are a little stiffer. I'm getting performance struts soon, but I don't think it will make a huge difference. I doubt the handling performance would be a greater change than what it was and is now.

As for cutting springs, your asking for trouble.
