Angry Stupid Protege Brakes!

Ok, I've had the same problem as everyone else with the whole squeaky brakes deal on my 2001 MP3. I have some 48k miles on my car still using the stock brake pads. I decided to replace my brake pads, how hard could it be...? Well the front pads were cake, It took me all of 10 minutes to remove the caliper, switch out pads, compress the piston and put everything back together again. So the rear brakes should be just as easy. Or so I thought. I removed the bolt from my passenger side rear caliper and quickly found out that I couldn't do anything until I got the stupid E-brake line out of my way. Done. Then, I remove the old pads, toss on the new ones and attempt to use my C-clap to compress the piston. BUT, the piston just will not budge...I try putting my back into it but it looked like my c-clap would give out before the piston would. Ok, a friend has a genious idea that maybe we need to releave some pressure by bleeding the brakes. I end up almost emptying my master cylinder and of course that failed to do anything but make my job that much harder. I spent all day trying to figure out how to compress this piston to no avail. Someone here must have changed their rear pads before. How the hell do you compress the rear brake piston so that there is room for the nice new pads that have been sitting in my trunk for over a week now? I can't find a repair manual on my car for the life of me. Any info you guys could toss my way would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.

instead of squeezsing the piston you have to screw the piston in.

There is an Allen screw on the rear of the caliper to help for this.

You know, I looked at that allen screw and thought it might be the trick, but I was worried about messin something up. So do I just have to loosen it to release pressure? Am I going to have to bleed the brakes after I mess with that screw? Thanks for your help.
