I think the CPC logo really stands out with the 3rd design (silver logo on blue background).
However, it really depends on what we want to do with the logo. Realistic pics generally do not work well with stickers, print (e.g. t-shirt), etc. - simple line graphics with not too many colours usually work better.
As for the logo, if we only have CPC, only people in the club will know what it stands for. Not a lot of advertising value if we make it into stickers for the car.
Perhaps we need a few different ones - text only with long name, simple line graphics for printing & full colour graphics for web?

I like Snype's original logo and simple design, but I'll try it later tonight changing the font of the CPC wording. It just looks too childish to me. Something to that effect. We need something we can put onto decals, etc. Thus, a simple design is required. So far, Snype has it nailedo n the head for simplicity and originality, but I'd still like to see what everyone else has to offer. If you've got an idea, post it!
Justin, your logo is nice, but I think just a tad to complicated for our purposes. Next English class, try another! At least you're using your time effectively!

Could try some other types, Bank Gothic or something.

childish
I liked the look of the so-called "childish" font. It almost looked like it was done with a pencil crayon or straight up crayon. I don't think we need to go all techno and straight up. Let's have fun and maybe we might spill some beer in our mouths by accident if were not careful.

yeah, I like the so called "childish" font, I think it would be coo to have something out of the ordinary from all of the other letter decals on the street. Has anyone tried Century Gothic? I think thats a nice font to use, I used to use it for my English essays. Yeah I think I should start putting more effort into class...then again my portfolio is done and I have nothing to do tomorrow...lol back to the drawing board Im pretty much down with nething you guys happen to decide on, its not that big of a deal to me, but it would be nice to get a decal or something to get noticed and more attention to the club from other people. Oh yeah BTW Nick, you know that gay yellow P5 with the Mazdaspeed rear windshield decal blah blah blah, he really wants to race people, maybe your up for it, as for me, still workin on my shiftin, so Im not attempting it yet, dont really feel like loosing my license either He thought the Protege club we were coming up with was a street racing group hah!
BTW, does anyone here know the original guy who started Contemporary Motorsports? I was checkin on prices for ground wires and they happened to give me his phone #, which he then decided to lecture me on how he started the Sport Compact Scene, and quoting Import Tuner on their article about the grounding wires. It was interesting, but not necessary when I was only lookin for prices. Hes located in the Foothills Industrial Park I believe. He told me he does decals as well, so we could explore our oppertunities with him when we do decide on something. Just a thought.

Just thought I would slap a few new tries on this.

the top one is better suited to a website (althought I like the first version better) and the seccond one is more of a 'decal' type approach.

nice Snype, Im for the 2nd one for our cars if we all can agree on it, I think its straight to the point, CPC is neat, and the "Calgary Protege Club" on the bottom is well suited. I like the first banner one as well
