ok guys this is the game plan for the meet. It iwll be held at the usual place (dunkirk park). I will be ariving to get things set up around 9-10 am. All the food should be prepaired by 11 or so. And the football game should be starting about 1-1:30. i will supply the cones for the game as well as the ball.

This is the list of food for this year which is subject to change. And change meaning more maybe added.

Fried chicken
Bar Bq chicken
hot dogs
hamburgers
chips
Dip
Side orders will be deteminded later. Planning on ribs being there also.

As for right now this is what is on the plate. Plates will be 5 bucks per person for all you can eat. The meet as it looks right now will be on july 5th. I will set up a sign in sheet for the meet as to whom is coming and how many you are bringing with you. This is the 3rd year this has taken place. So i want make it better for you year after year so if you have any suggestions to be added then let me know. Also i will be looking into haveing a meet at six flags on sunday and getting everyone a group rate on price but i will need a head count for that.

Well if you are asking about my sig. Then that was posted when i first started on this board when it first was put up. i had just gotten my protege 5 so i wanted to get something together with that car since i already had a probe club as well. But the protege club was sorta unsucessful but i still just hang out here and invite you guys to my probe club meets if you guys want to come. I want to try and make this BAR BQ meet turn from a probe family meet to a mazda family meet in the upcoming years. So that all mazdas that are interested can come and enjoy themselves. This is the third year that i have been doing the meet and so far it has been doing pretty good but i would like to make it bigger better every year.

Also this is not my meet but if you guys are interested in coming to a HUGE MEET then go to probetalk and check out MYRTLE MADNESS in myrtle beach every year usually in the first weekend in november. That meet has been going to on for the past 5 years and we have had a maximum of about 100 cars and 150 people there. For more details of the fun just check it out on probetalk.com.

 

Ok guys sorry for the no reply on the status of the BAR BQ. But my ISP was not working for me for the past couple of days.

Anyway look this is what i would like to do. I want to set this meet for another 30 days so that everyone can be prepared for the meet as far as being of from work if you are coming out of town and also to get you money straight if you are also coming from out of town. Just all around making sure that you are prepaired for the for the meet. I will have it set to where i KNOW that it is going to happen that day and not have to worrry about resevations and other things that might stop the meet from happening. Only thing that might hamper the meet is if it is bad weather which i can't control.

I want thank everyone for thier interest and patients as i want this meet to be the best meet i can provide for you and your family.

 

Sounds fun. If it wasn't on the holiday weekend I would have gone with the gang, but no dice.

The guy from the park service called me today and asked about how mant cars will be there at the event and how many people. I was unable to give a number because he kinda wants a close amount see if there would have space and if i needed to reserve more or not.

So i need for you guys to post how many are coming and how many people are you bringing so i can get him a number.
