Autocross season heating up!
There are three autocross practice races coming up over the next several weekends. This weekend and next are being held by a local Porsche club at Six Flags and at the end of the months is the practice race held by the Regional SCCA club (need a license for that one) check out the info at: http://www.jwtodd.com/mwcscc-ax/ .

Fellow Autocrossers:
Autocrossers, Inc. (AI) is having a practice autocross this coming Sunday, March 10, at Six Flags America. Each car will get 4
runs. There is no pre-registration, i.e., it's on a "first come, first served" basis so just show up.
Then, on Sunday, March 17, AI will hold another practice autocross, also at Six Flags America. This event will offer a "Pro Class"
option for those of you who would like to compete for a cash reward. On-line pre-registration via www.autocrossers.com and
www.autocrossers.org will open at 8:00pm on Monday, March 11. Here is what I have so far on the event: 4 heats; 50 cars per heat
(40 cars per heat open for pre-registration); 4 runs; 25 positions for Pro Class entrants in the 3rd heat; $25 entry fee; $10 extra
for Pro Class; cash awards for 1-3 places in Pro Class ($125, $75, and $50). From what I understand, the Pro Class works this way:
pre-register for a Pro Class position; pay an extra $10 ($35 total); run-times for your will be adjusted using the current PAX
index; and the top 3 persons with the fastest indexed times will receive individual cash awards. There are only 25 positions for
the Pro Class and they are all in the first part of the 3rd heat. The pre-registration form will have a separate box for you to use
when selecting one of the Pro Class positions.
Cheers, Michael P.
(PS - I was away on vacation for 2 weeks so that's why this announcement is coming to you a little later than usual)

Meet
Not really just letting folks know what’s going on. But if a bunch of Protégés show up that would be great! We could hang out watch some people crush some cones and then go for some pizza and beer or something and do some bench racing.
