Jus tonight me and a few buddies were cruising around Glen Burnie Md. Im sure all of u in the DC area know bout this city.

Well anyways
i was driving to Best Buy, and saw some crx's and trucks cruise by me really fast...of course followed by the po po. lol.
But when i got to Best Buy they were closed. So i turned around goin back towards home...and i saw more guys chillin at Checkers on Rt. 2. And McDonalds Next door to checkers had bunch more ppl. So me and my bros did a 180 and went to McDonalds. If anyone went to carlisle and saw the truck stops, gas stations etc. This looked like one of em. So many lil civics, crx's and accords. saw 2 Probes, one 300zx and TOOO many Granny Saturns with fony exhaust.

Anyways. The Checkers and McDonalds in Glenburnie right off of Rt 2, and Rt3. (its inbetween the 2 roads) This is a hang out. Im pretty sure they were gunna go racing later on, but im tired and gotta get to work at 6 am.

Ill try to meet up at that location ever sat night around 930-1000 pm. If any Mazda Ppl feel like showing up jus gemme a holla. Ill surly be there with my friend matt (has a 93 Probe GT).

 

Another hangout spot for imports is at Rockville Town Center at the Starbucks. Man it was so many imports that it's uncountable. They meet every Friday and Saturday night or early morning, whatever, at around 12:00am. There is definately racing going on near the DMV when there isn't any cops around. Y'all should check it out because you're sure to have fun. I did.

Its not only imports. I saw Camaros, Mustangs, and Corvettes also. But the majority is imports. And if your coming to race, let me tell you that basically everyone as turbo and/or NOS.

 

yeah Rockville Town Center is a HUGE hangout for tuners/ricers/wannabes. The setup is perfect because there is a Barnes and Noble with a Starbucks attched to it (perfect for wannabes to grab one of them car mags and do bench racing), and it has a HUGE well lit parking lot in front of it (perfect for gathering). Plus there are horizontal parking spaces right in front of the bookstore, so those with decked out rides would park there and show off to the passers by.

Last time I was there, there was this metallic blue S14 240SX all decked out with Silvia conversion headlight and mad body kit. Not sure what he's got under the hood though....

Rockville Town Center, more like Riceville Town Center

 

When I was there last night I saw this sweeeet a$$ white Supra with I think a Blizt body kit w/ turbo. Boy was that car beautiful in Riceville.

I was kinda puzzled when I saw a huge Chevy Suburban dropped to the ground. It also had hydralics. All I could ask myself was WHY?

 

I just got back from Glen Burnie, MD. Where's this Mickey D's and Checkers at? Anyhow I cruise along MD 100 East to Glen Burnie bout every weekend.

Also, is there a fastest way from No. VA to Glen Burnie? I take 495 to 95 to MD 100. Can I take 295 and would it take me straight to MD 100?

yup, 495 to 295 (Balt-Wash Pkwy) to 100 is quite fast. I got to Maz94Protege's place in about an hour (leaving from Tysons Corner) today. That is with little traffic on the road of course, but 295 usually has less traffic than 95.

 

I did look at Mapquest and Yahoo Maps and it gave me this direction: Capital Beltway 495 to 95 North to MD 100. This takes me about an hour and a half not including the traffic!

 

Actually a better spot to hangout is Northern Pkwy Parking lot (Has a Kmart, and a Wendy's in the shopping center. When we get chased out by the cops, we go up to Woodmoor shopping center on Liberty Road, not far from there. Come check us out....the Glen Burnie dudes come up here also. Meeting time around 11pm on.......

 

He Melanism do you guys go out there together? If so when do you leave? i might go with your guys one friday. I really want to take my probe so that i can race some of those guys there. I want to see if some of my old running partners are out there!! Just hit me up when you guys are going!!! Maybe we can do some running on the way down there!! If i can't take the probe then i will take the MP5!! later......

 

I guess the cops really love all this useful information you're giving them. Saves the trouble of them actually having to search for you all.

 

Where is Northern PKWY Parking lot and how do you get there?

 

Finally saw the Checkers and Mickey D's in Glen Burnie last night. Anyone saw us? I had my 99 Silver ES, with 02 Black Celica, 02 Silver Celica, 02 Black Civic and a Navigator. We just cruised by b/c we were on our way clubbing.

 

shoulda stopped by, to see if any pros were there. U all keep a look out for my car im always chasing the ricers around
