Question for those in Montreal
My Protege's one year service is due this month, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me how much I can expect to shell out in terms of $$$$. Does the price differ according to the dealership? I'm willing to go into the surrounding area if it means saving some dough. I did the 4 month and 8 month services at the dealer I bought the car at. It cost about $50 each, less for the 8 month, because I had a coupon. The car only has 6000 Kms on it after a year, but I like to give it extra attention.
Thanks in advance!

Don't know what to tell u?
Well, if your car is due for service just bring it. I deal with Spinelli in lachine. THey are good, honest. I am new to them, used to be a toyota guy untill i got a mazda. But at Mazda Spinelli they are all young and if u tell them to warn u before they change something they will.
But if it's just service u should maybe find something around u.. where do u live exactly?? downtown or west. island etc.
I would think that all the dealers would be best.. cuz u can go after thier *** if they mess something up..

My dealer isn't Spinelli, but I've been treated very well by them since I bought the car. I have since found out how much it will cost, around $140.
As for going to a garage to do the work, that will never happen. I could tell you horror stories about these places, particularly about their total incompetence on the most minor repairs. I'd never trust them with a new car, that's for sure, and that includes a certain "Canadian" chain that should be avoided at all cost.
