Windows tinted!!

Fellow P5 drivers,

I had my P5 tinted last weekend at 15% all around. It's quite dark, but I can see very well at night with no problems even when I'm backing up.

Just thought I'd share this with you guys in case you're wonder how low you can go tint wise and still see where the hell you're going *lol*.

On another note, my Civic Si was tinted at 15% all around and I never had any problems with the law about how dark it was.

How much did it cost you? Where did you get it done?

I had it done at Shades Window Tinting. He does an excellent job and tints the entire window top to bottom, not just parts of it. This is the third car he's done for me and I've never had any problems. His warranty is good against peeling, blistering, cracking and fading for life and uses premium Llumar metallized film which is the good stuff.

As for the cost well, it ain't cheap, but it's worth it believe me. So expect to pay around $300.00 to get it done. Again, you can find cheaper places, but I guaranty they wont do as good a job as he does.

Tint

I also recommend the Platinum Llumar Tint.. it steps away from any other tint.. I got 18% all around my G2 Protege.. and man it looks sweet.. my car is the factory Green Mica.. the tint is pretty much reflective and it also takes to the colour of the car, so it kinda looks like theres no window there.. But on the inside, its so easy to see out of.. I couldn't ask for a better tint.. i paid $285.00 for mine.. but its well worth the cash.. Lifetime warranty...

I had my P5 done at/by the Dealer, but I HIGHLY recommend Shades. I have taken my previous 3 cars to him and he is "The Best"
