1999 door lock--help?

Hi:

I have a '99 Protege. The driver's side back door lock has gone out. It sounds like some gears are stripped--it makes a ripping/grinding sound whenever I hit the power lock button. Does anybody here know where I can find the directions for removing the door panel to get at the lock mechanism? I've done this sort of thing before, but I'd rather not tear up the panel needlessly, if ya know what I mean.

Thanks!

the first part of this website shows you how to remove the door panels for proteges. I've removed them before, and lemme tell yah, theyre a pain to remove and put back..
there was another forum link that had detailed instructions on how to remove the door panels, but i cant find it no more

hopefully this will help
