well, in my car, i've looked carefully on this matter of relocating before, it's all slide and gear mechanisms... when you move them, there is a series of steel cable, duct pieces, plastic parts, fittings etc... the only wires running to my climate control were for the backlighting, look carefully and rethink.

Thanx... I checked it out and found out that in my pro there is only one steel cable and two plugs. These plugs should be able to be extended and the cable can be replaced by a bicycle cable I think. I still have to keep investigating.

Now I am TOTALLY confused. I saw another 2nd Gen with the same type A/C controls (buttons for vent control).

How many of you have this type of A/C control?
