took me around 30 mins to install, pretty easy, there are only 2 wires to hook up.

there is a group buy for these right now if you want them

Those look sharp Em. Are you happy with the quality and fit of the metal? How do they install? Looks like they just sit on top of the plastic door sill piece to me. I may be interested in the group buy thing, but I need to talk it over with my wife and see what she thinks.

Dale.

the quality is pretty good, im happy with them. they go over your exsisting trim so you don't need to drill or anything. they use 3m double sided tape to stick. same kinda thing as the rear bumper guard.

cool.
i got my el ones in the mail in monday. i checked them with a 9v battery and the blue color is absolutley gorgeuous. did you use the adhesive that came with the sills? also, where did you hook up the power and ground wires too. can we hook up the red power wires to one "side" of the fuse under dash and the ground to the other side of the same fuse? thanks.

Just ground to the frame, and there's an empty fuse in the fuse panel in the dash. Tap the left hand lead for power, and you're set!

Dima,

Just drill a hole in the frame by the fuse panel, and that will give you some bare metal to be a ground. Put a screw in there, and attach your wire and you're good to go!

uhh you can't hook it up like that or they will be on permanently or until your battery runs out

you want to go

+ to battery
- to door switch (black/blue wire by driver side kick panel)

the door switch will show +12V when door is closed and GND when door is open so when the door is open it will complete the circuit

Heck no I am gonna drill holes in my car. But thanks for the advice anyway. I figured out how to hook it up and if I have time I will do a how-to. Basically power goes to a fuse (labeled room on the inside of the fuse acces cover) and ground goes to the connector that connects to the door switch. Thanks guys.
