Adding sidemarkers

I really, really like the clean look of the clear corners on the Protege, but...

Now the vehicle fails to meet Canadian (& US) standards because there is no amber reflector near the front side corners (the ugly old orange corners provided that).

I am not expecting to ever have a legal issue with this, but in the interest of "what if", what do you think of adding amber sidemarkers?

There is a nice flat indent in the bumper cover where I painted in a sidemarker that would be a perfect mounting spot (it seems - I haven't checked behind it )

Stick on reflectors

True, they only need to be reflectors and not illuminated.

I did look at the stick-on reflectors at Crappy Tire, and they are, well, crappy.

I think if I were to do this I would put something nice on.
