I'm in the process of installing Sony's new indash screen and Clarion's DVD player. The bracket behind the radio gets in the way and will have to be removed. I'll post pics up when I'm done. Another problem that needs correcting is the mounting area for the can. It's made of very soft plastic and will need some strengthening in order to properly mount both units.

I had 99 VW Jetta before this car and the radio was turned a little to the driver and was lower in the dash which was perfect. It was low enough that it could not be viewed from outside and also did not get affected from the sun. I have noticed that it get's washed out a little more due to the sun in my P5. Hopefully once I get my tint it will be better. I put mine in the lower pocket so it would not be as viewable from the outside and to hide that ugly pocket that I do not even use. This way it dosen't block the vents completey.

Here's mine:

I had to strengthen the dash where the radio mounts and remove the bracket from the rear where the factory radio mounted to. Other than that, both the screen and the DVD player are both mounted solid.

I got a really good deal for it too. Let me know if you need one. I only paid $750 for it from an authorized dealer.
