Appearance Mods?

I've got a list of things I want to do with my Protege 5 to make it look good, before I start with performance mods. I've made a bit of a list - please give me your opinion on which company you like best for each item, and where I can see pictures and buy these items. Let's begin:

Interior Trim/Dash Kits (I found one on nopionline.com made by Florida Trim that looked pretty nice - I want a solid red kit, no carbon fiber or wood please)

Spoilers?

Altezza/Euro Taillights?

I suppose that's about it for now. Feel free to add any trick parts to enhance the looks as well. But I will say this: I don't really like the look of carbon fiber, so I will not be adding any carbon fiber hoods or accessories.

how about a front grill, can you help me with that? I think you are right about the spoiler though...and I will settle if no altezzas are made...I took the body kit off my list for now, for I really don't need to spend that much money on one anyway...

blaze...we have a specific forum for this stuff here...the exterior/interior forum....so that is where your thread has been moved to.

the front grill.....look for the AutoExc grill...its killer there is a thread here about all the parts/pieces for that kit...you can get the individual parts seperately

where can i see pictures of the autoexc grill/other parts? I've seen the stuff from that other company (blue something or another), but am not too impressed with those items.

Just so you know - most of the dash kits I have seen kinda suck - there really is no way to get a kit to cover every surface - there are places where the "champagne" silver color will show, and it just don't look so great. Maybe with the red, it'll be okay, but I wanted an aluminum look, and the two colors would clash in a nasty way, IMO.

So, I'm going with paint - gonna brighten things up a bit. Once I get around to it - I have a bunch of things I want to do - still looking for the perfect weekend - one that is maybe 4 days long and sunny.

id rather put my money on performance, since appearance doesnt make you go faster.
make it 50/50

get lightweight wheels and good tires.youll improve performance for handling, and speed if you get lightweight wheels, and it will make your car look good.

a good looking universal muffler improves performance and also makes you car sound good and look good.

springs make your car handle better, and makes your car look good.

a carbon fiber hood makes your car lighter thus faster, and it looks good.

go for a black window tint, that is cool.
so,any questions?

p.s: altezzas are NOT cool.

black window tint does not make you go faster...in fact it is heavier, so it makes you go slower.

If you are so worried about speed - why didn't you get a fast car? That is my question...

i thought the car was a good deal for quality/price but its not that SLOW..
and by the way,im selling it
to get an integra.
i have a family,so i cant buy a rx7 or a 300zx
the integra would be faster than a slow **** protege.and it handles even better,if thats what you're gonna say.
i dont mind you gettin appearance mods, its just that you can combine performance and style
what else can a man ask for??!!
if you just add appearance mods to your car without any performance add-ons,you will look just like thos ******* honda riceboyz.sorry..
are you wearing a foorball t-shirt with a sideways topless cap?

and what didnt you like in my first reply??
the altazza comment?
sorry bout that dude, but some other people would say that altezzas are GAY
you asked for advice, you got some
if you want appearance mods,go for neons under your car, blacklights IN the car,,big decals, glowing badges, one wiper setup, big body kit (with no paint on it if possible)
oh,dont forget the washer lights!!!!
come one man i dont mean to insult you,i was just telling you to be different

I was not at all offended by your reply...I just disagree with your opinions. You are starting a one-sided argument with no one. If your reply to my fast car comment is that you are getting an Integra, I think you misread my comment... I said that if you are worried about speed, get a fast car, not an Integra.

I don't wear football t-shirts, or jerseys, if that's what you mean. And I don't wear visors either (if that's what you mean by topless cap - it's called a visor).

Further, I'm glad that you offered your opinions, and I thank you for them. But some other people might say that undercar neons are "GAY." By the way, do you mean gay as in happy or as in homosexual? Or are you using it much like the way that "thos ******* honda riceboyz" do (yes, riceboyz with a z, similar to your previous post)?

Best Wishes,
BlazedGlory

yeah i said riceboyZ it makes it even worse
fast cars are very expensive,if what you mean by fast car is a porsche or a bmw m5
making a normal car go fast is cool though, and thats what i was talking about...but you know that by now

p.s: visors are ugly.and under car neons are gay as in ''having no taste'',ive seen homos with cool cars ....haha

Its not about how fast your car is, it's about fast you want it to look.
