auxilary input headphone jack

does anybody know of or how to install something to the oem headunit that will able me to plug in mp3 players or anything that uses a headphone jack? heres an example of what im talking about
http://www.neocaraudio.com/advanced_...icle_year=2004

it should be the second one down. the one with a red and white connectors on one and end then the headphone jack on the other end. That is the only one that i have found and i know that there are others out there. and also does the stock headunit have a place on the backside of it or something that you can plug those red and white connectors without buying any adapter?

could i just splice a wire with a headphone jack on the other end into some wires that are assigned to the tape/auxillary button? if so which wires are they coming out of the back of the headunit? or would it work if i just spliced into my speakers wires coming out of the HU and tap the auzillary button everytime i wanted to listen to my mp3 player?
