Question Body mods question

Hey guys I have been tossing around my options on this topic for a while now. I have contemplated buying a full BC2 body kit for $450 plus $150 shipping, which to me sounds like a descent deal, but I have also thought about just finding a P5, MP3, or speed front bumper cuz I like the looks. I was kinda hoping to find a P5 bumper off of a white P5 for a descent price so I could save a little money. But I have had ZERO luck finding anything like this online. Am I not looking in the right places? AM I going to have to go through a stealership? And is it even worth it as opposed to a full kit from BC2? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

visit www.protegegarage.com the site is down but Ken has his cell number on it. Don't call him at 3am. He's a regular guy! Tell him Matty sent you and he'll set you up with OEM stuff at a great price.

What is it that you don't like...If u don't mind me asking. The main reason it caught my attention is due to the lack of many other options! I do really like the Postert setup you had posted in the past but it is way out of my price range!

yeah, I think the best I could get a postert front end for is about $900shipped to me....then another $100 or so shipped to you.

I don't like the fact that it looks "overdone". I like the subtle sporty appearance of the stock ms kit. real clean but still that hint of sportiness

Doesn't any P5/MP3 or MSP front bumper require a lot of modification to fit the standard sedan?

whoa! headlights and hood? I was under the impression that it wouldn't need any modification. I thought they were basically the same headlight setup etc...? If thats true then it looks like I might have to go with the BC2 kit!

No, modification is definitely needed as I suspected. I can't confirm whether or not the hood is the same, but I know the headlights and grille are different.

I saw a Protege that had a speed kit put on it and it looked like he still had the stock headlights.

So if I were to get a P5 grill and headlights with a P5 fron bumper, would they all bolt right up?

I have an aftermarket grill, and I was told the hoods are the same, what is the dif of headlights? My grill was too big for teh sedan & the jack-off that sold it to me screwed me big time! But it still looks ok.

you don't need to change the headlights or hood! you need the bumper cover, bumper reinforcement, fender splash shields, upper and lower grills. if you want fogs, fog light harness, spoiler, side skirts, and rear skirt. heres a list of everything on msprotege... http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=23762
