Buddy Club 2

Does anyone know if the Buddy Club 2 kit fits the 1999 Protege? It says on their website (buddyclub2), that this kit only fits the 2001-2004 Protege. I thought that the Protege was the exact same car (3rd gen) from 1999-2004, with the only difference being the front lights. Can someone help me out? Thanks.

the front end is different, fenders, hood , lights, you need to whole font end, they are supposed to be making it for the 99-00 though ...

im not positive ... but my friend has the buddy club 2 kit on his cavalier ... the kit is really low, i dont think the front bumper +lip would come close to lining up with it.

Hey, where can you buy that Sport 20 front bumper? Is it a simple replacement of the old front bumper, to the Sport 20 one?

corksport.com...and yes it is a direct replacement on a 99-00 protege...although there is a slight fitment issue with splash guards, slight modification will fix it though

i almost bought it , i have looked at it, it lines up with the mp3 sides and rear, which i can guarantee the buddy cllub 2 kit is a lot lower than.

once again i am looking at it with the lip on it, lets go over it this way, i have th stock front bumper with a lip which sits about the same height as the autexec lip on the sport20 bumper, my friends cavalier with the buddyclub 2 kit sat the same height as mine off the ground when we lowered them, now since he has the buddy club 2 kit and i have the lip kit, i cant fit my foot under his car but i can lay under mine .... it wont line up.

You are making a bad comparison....first of all the sport 20 bumper sits lower than the stock bumper and the autoexe lip goes lower than the Mazda one....second you are comparing a cavalier with a protege...2 different ride heights, 2 different body kits...buddy club doesnt make just one body kit and adapt it to different makes and models....3rd is your friends cavalier lowered?? Is yours?? I have seen the buddy club sideskirts installed on a protege...It WILL line up
