can I really be the only protege 5 owner

who has looked into denim seat covers. I have talked with this company
www.seatcoversdirect.com, and they have great customer service, but I am not sure about the quality of the product and the preciseness of the fit. They claim that the covers are truly custom, work with side airbags and fit around all ***** and handles. From their CS guy:

""Our seat covers are hand-cut and hand-sewn by tailors using the actual
patterns for your seats, so they don't "pooch". They provide a custom fit
that you won't find from almost any other seat cover, hence the price
variation. This also means that our seat covers will accommodate for your
60/40 split, fold downs, etc."

Any ideas or input? Anyone ever tried this company? I have a new baby coming and want to protect those seats.

i dunno... denim is quite a rough material.... it could ruin your clothes more due to rubbing against the seat compared to just normal cloth or leather.

I have decided to order them. I am told the denim is soft and thick and can be patched if torn. I am getting racing style black and silver with Mazda logos. Any seat can tear and fray, and these covers will be thicker than the fabric on the factory seats. As soon as I get them, I will scotchguard them, and I think I should be covered well for years to come. I like that they can be thrown in the washer and dryer as well. No more worrying about sodas, swim suits, mud and pens.
