Civic body kit fitting

Whats going on guys.... well just updating on the progress of my car nothing extra has been done to it except now it is sporting the stock front bumper again. It was too low and i had to fix it three times so i said "f"-it and gave up.

The other day i painted a 94 civic with a body kit on it and took off the front bumper just to see if it would fit. I had heard rumors that it works pretty good. Well it could but quite a bit of fiberglass work is involved... on the top of the bumper. That and unless the sides are extended about 1 inch the corner of the bumper curves about 1/2 an inch before the head light. So if the sides were extended to meet at the wheel wale it wouldn't look bad at all with the exception of the work that has to go into making the top longer. I took a few pics but don't have them on this computer i will post 'em in a couple of days though.

The back bumper, on the other hand, looks like a perfect fit. I didn't actually take it off but the measurements are almost dead on and i belive that it would fit perfectly.

The side skirts are about 4 inches too long and would have to be cut down.

Oh and Mazdarossa the lip from the integra bumper takes a lot of work and involves cutting both of the sides shorter, and the middle shorter (on the lip). Then figuering out a way to mount it on your bumper. But here is the thread i started on that...

1ofdfew323 had a front lip that would fit perfectly. If you can get ahold of him i belive he only wanted around 30-50 bucks for it plus shipping..... try giveing him a PM i haven't seen him around in a while though.

Well guys i test fitted a civic back bumper and the damn thing almost fits perfect. It can be put on very easily.

I'm gonna be getting a civic body kit for almost free so im gonna be putting it on my car. If you guys want i can take step by step pictures and do a write-up on all of the modifications it will take to make it fit.

Well i guess thats it i won't be getting the kit for probably another week or two so i'll keep you guys posted....

Hey, thats good work. Some pics would definately be of good help. What year Civic is the bumper from, and how much fabrication will it involve, if any? Thanks.

It's from a 92-95 cibic..... well everything lines upgreat even the corners its just that it sticks out towards the back of the car about 1 inch, but im sure with a little bit of cutting to the top of the bumper (where the clips go on the civic) and that would be all it would take..
