Question cleaning under the hood

I was wondering what is the best way to clean under the hood of our P5. I mean those aluminium parts how do i keep them shining? I have heard that we can spray water in there but should i be careful not to sprey certain areas?
And what cleaning products should i be using.
Any help would be greately appreciated.

I'll save TheMAN the trouble, and tell you to do a search. There was a post on exactly this about a month ago. Lots of answers. Welcome to the board by the way! Make yourself at home!
