Thanks, this is an automatic shifter made to look like a standard shift. The shifter was about $110.00 and the e-brake about $85.00 I did the conversion my self.

Looks very nice, but I have a question, how do you know what gear you're in? Just count the clicks?

They would think it's a sequential manual transmission like the SMG2 used in the M3 since they don't notice any third pedal.

There is a gear monitor on the left side of the speedometer.

It looks awesome man, the best looking auto shifter I've ever seen.

I'm getting the momo handbrake, it looks great, did it come with the leather boot?

I just count the clicks. Its not that hard

Its not a mod for the faint of heart. First you have to cut the shifter bar because the sucker is too tall, then you have to grind about 2" down the bar in order for the shifter **** to fit. Then relocate the O/D button (the little red button). I originally used a MOMO leather boot, but it looked awefull so after the let down, I went and got a factory Protege shifter boot, modify the ring a little bit to fit around the MOMO ****. Thats it, about 1 hour job.

The e-brake was a lot easier. This is the MOMO Pilot and the MOMO Pilot leather boot. You also need the "adapter", its a little black rubber piece that fills the gap between the e-brake handle and the chromed release button. You do not even need to remove the console, just cut the factory handle cover with an utility knife and pull hard. You might be able to remove it without cutting, but I imaging it has to be extremely hard to do. Then slide the leather boot and the handle and tighten the 3 little allen bolts. About 20 minutes.

Total price of mods:

MOMO auto shifter ****---------------$110
MOMO shifter boot------------------------$45
MOMO chrome shifter gate finisher----------$25
MOMO Pilot e-brake-----------------------$85
MOMO Pilot boot---------------------------$35
MOMO Pilot adapter-----------------------$10
Radio Shack button-------------------------$2
Mazda shifter boot------------------------$35
The look on the vale----------------PRICELESS!
