Ricer bashing? Ha... if you're an anti ricer and driving a mazda, thats just a walking contradiction.

Its like a being a Jewish ****... or a rich guy driving a Kia... or an inexperienced Ford mechanic...

If there are people like that just surfing around this website just to poke fun at people, that's just sad.

-Peace

Wow, thanks for the support guys. There sure has been a lot of ricer bashing around here, and all of the feedback has been great. To do the grills, I took them both off. I did a search found a forum talking about the subject in depth. There was a link to one person's web site with detailed info on taking off the top grill, and for the bottom grill, I got on the ground and spotted all the clips, using a screwdriver to disengage them.
Can you share the website and the threads were you found the how-tos?

Seeing as I have already spent SO much money in aftermarket stuff (stereo/security/performance/engine mods) on a car I have made just two payments on plus the down payment, I need to satisfy my need to do things to it with cheaper mods for the time being...

Not bad... Did the same thing on mine about 3 months ago, but painted the mesh white to match my rims.

Just a few suggestions, paint the calipers, take that one roof rack crossmember off, and if you're up to it, remove the whole roof rack assembly. That'd clean it up alot!

Nice, do you have any pictures of the white grill? Was thinking about getting white wheels and thought a white grill might look good with them.

Mines costed $6 also from Home Depot, not that I'm complaining.

Well, here is some information about it from NegatiZE: (In our very own How To section....(

also

click the search button up top, type in mesh grill and sort through the stuff, hopefully you can find what you need.

(I know a lot of people probably keep saying use search, use search, but it's true, I want to be nice before some grumpy mod comes around and yells or whatever **cough**Edwin**cough** )

Oh yeah, forgot about my mesh grille installation.

I just uploaded several pictures w/ labels showing how to remove the bumper to that thread. Hope this helps everyone.

Might I suggest using "safety wire" instead of zip ties. Its stainless steel wire, and comes in different diameters. .020 would proabably do the trick for this project.
